How long before the wedding
should I select a florist?
Most florist book their schedule between 3-4 months in advance. The
busiest months for weddings have been April through October.
Are most flowers available throughout the
year?
Yes, However, it is best to plan your floral decor with flowers
that are in season at the time of your wedding. Planning
to find lilacs or tulips in December would be a challenge.
When should I schedule my first consultation
with a floral designer?
Anytime after you have decided on a florist. However,
your consultation will be more productive if you have already picked
the color of your dresses and can bring a swatch with you to the
consultation.
Can I make changes to my order once we make
a down payment?
Certainly! We want to make sure your wedding is exactly
as you imagined it. You can make changes up to a week before
the event. After that time we will do all we can to honor
your request, however, by then your flowers have already been ordered
and the process has begun.
Who should come to my consultation?
Certainly you and whomever is your main support in the decision
making process. There really is no limit as to the number
of people who may attend, however, the smaller the group, the more
expedient the decision process.
When am I expected to make payment?
We ask that you make a down payment of 20% to hold your wedding
date in our schedule. Final payment is due two weeks before
the event. We order flowers upon receipt of your final payment.
Do you deliver?
We deliver your wedding flowers to any destination in the city
of Madison and the surrounding communities...about a twenty mile
radius from the Capitol Square. We are happy to deliver to
more distant destinations for a fee. |
